when we come together

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,
not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Heb 10:24-25

Indeed, week after week many turn up for church services, youth fellowships, prayer meetings and other kinds of Christian gatherings. Thank God. But how many, when they come together, stir up one another to love and good works?

Are we doing/saying things that build each other up?

Are our gatherings no different from other social gatherings?

Is God/Christ/the gospel the center of our gatherings and relationships with each other?

to be continued… (if God willing..)
