I had a really weird dream.
I dreamt that i went back to my secondary school for a friendly match with my juniors. There were the also students from some other school and the whole canteen was packed with people. Everyone was excited about the friendly match because we were supposed to play a new game invented by a
coach from another school.
First game...
It was
Kranji netball team vs
Some other team(cant recall)Kranji's ball...
The start of the game is like any other netball match that you see.The
Center would pass the ball to another of the team mate and they would pass the ball down towards the goal post.
Now.. i need your imagination..When the ball reached the last third, the
GS brought the goal post into the court to where the semi circle line was!!!
Then the
WA passed to ball to the
GA and the
GA scored a goal.
Weird isn't it?Then when the
opposing team start their ball, they passed the ball to their
GA and then..(guess what happened..) The opposing
GS and
WA carried the goal post into the court to where the center third was. And the
GA tried to shoot.
In the dream, i was standing in the canteen next to the
coach who brought in the game. I turned and asked
him "how come the girls can bring the goal post around the court?"
Coach " Oh, this is part of the game. It's meant to be play like this."
Me "Ok..."
(doubtful)Halfway through the game,
2 girls walked out of the court to go for a drink when the game is still on.
Me " How come the girls can walk out like that?"
Coach" why cannot, this is the game..."
Me "Ok.."
(very doubtful)Me " so if the whole team decides to walk out half way through the game, it's also Ok???"
Coach "yup"
Me.. speechless.. utterly amazed by this game.
Thank God this happened in a dream. I cannot imagine myself playing a game that is like that..
Netball with that kind of "rules"??
Moving the goal post around the court??
Walking out of the court in the middle of the game??
It's as if the game is without any rules...
Try to imagine playing a netball or basketball game without any rules...
imagine...
